Robin King's Bio
Born in Toledo, Ohio, Robin King received her BA from
North Carolina Central University where she majored in
Art History and minored in Business Management. She
went on to receive her Masters from the Fashion
Institute of Technology in NYC where she majored in
Arts Management.
Robin has worked at numerous museums and galleries.
Her first major project in NYC was Corporate Curator of
Carver Federal Savings Bank’s Arts program in Harlem.
She implemented Carver’s arts program: collected fine
art for Carver’s permanent modern & contemporary
collection, coordinated educational programs,
coordinated events and assisted with marketing and
advertising.
After leaving Carver Federal Savings Bank she went to
work in advertising.
She is using her talents and skills to produce and write
her first film about the African-American Family and build
RLK Films.
