- Below are some of my recommendations/solutions as a Single Mother:
- Women and Men, even if we do not marry, we have to Co-Parent together. The priority is the
child.
- Women talk to a Man not at a Man. A Man has 99 Problems and a Woman with Drama =
Stress.
- Men, you are necessary (vital) in the home. Visit your Child. Call your Child.
- Turn off the TV and cell phone. Read and play with your Child. Check their homework and
have family dinner on Sunday.
- A Man is not obligated to marry you or have a relationship with you because you have his
baby. A Man is only obligated to spend time with his Child, call his Child, contribute financially
and maintain a respectful relationship with you.
- Women, do not use your Child as a pawn against the Father. If he is a responsible Man, he is
entitled to see his Child and call his Child even if you both are not in a relationship.
- Men, when you withhold financial support from the Mother of your Child, you are not
punishing the Mother, you’re hurting your Child.
- Single Parents who have successfully raised their Children, please share your knowledge
with other single Mothers and Fathers.
- Women, you deserve help. We should not have to raise your Children on our own. Make sure
you have a great support system (babysitter, the father’s family, your family)…everybody
should help you with your Child. So don’t be ashamed to ask for help.
- Unwed parents deserve help too. Churches should offer parenting classes and counseling to
single parents in the community.
- Parents & Teachers working together as a team helps makes education a success for
Americas Children.
- How about courting? Try to gain love and affection that will lead to marriage.
- Being a good Wife, Mother and full time house manager is the HARDEST JOB in the
World…Thank You!
- Education is the key to success for both parents.
- Women must have high expectations. Love yourself first so our Men will rise to higher
standards.
- Men, you are too beautiful and necessary in the community to put your life in danger and sell
drugs. You (we) deserve better.
- Men, pull your pants up. Women, tell Men to pull their pants up if they want to talk to you.
- Women, pull your skirts and tops down.
- A Man is not responsible to make you happy and love you.
- Good looks and great sex will not keep anyone in the long term. Have something more
interesting going for yourself.
- Stop having all these kids from uncommitted relationships. It’s hard enough to raise one.
- Men, control your dick.
- Women, keep your legs closed.
- Hip Hop Music is entertainment. It’s not here to raise our Children.
- Stop putting Men down. We are raising all these Boys who become Men, that we say are no
good.
- Listen to one another’s opinions and thoughts. Come up with a solution together. There is no
“I” in Team.
- It takes a village to raise a Child…Americas Children are our Children…What are you going to
do?
Women and Men, we better get our homes in order, because the powers that be, have already come up with a solution to our problems… PUT OUR YOUNG BOYS AND MEN IN JAIL . |
